Shamoon Abbasi Opened up About Getting a Role Opposite Priyanka Chopra which he Refused

Pakistani actor Shamoon Abbasi revealed he refused a role contrary Priyanka Chopra in a Bollywood movie due to the fact he had other commitments.

Making an appearance on ARY News’ show Har Lamha Purjosh, Abbasi stated that producer Hasan Zia referred to as him from Delhi and stated “I’m with Vishal Bhardwaj [Bollywood director] and he wishes to cast you with Priyanka Chopra in a film.”

The actor was once taking pictures for Waar when he got the offer. He advised Zia that he is presently capturing for a Pakistani movie and requested if the agenda ought to be adjusted a bit. “He [Zia] bought indignant and said, ‘You’re telling me I need to ask Priyanka Chopra to wait for you. I said yes, he said ‘no’,” he similarly added.

Abbasi said he is glad he made his country proud by using doing Waar and reiterated that he needs to work in Pakistan alternatively of opting to work in movie industries abroad.

He also shared that he launched actress Neelam Muneer in the television industry. “A 14-year-old used to be required for a horror series we have been making for a TV channel and it used to be her first entry,” he said. On the work front, he is all set for his directorial debut with film Durj which will hit cinema monitors in October.
