One of the most loved actresses of Pakistani cinema Urwa Hocane, who received rave reviews for her exceptional performance in Punjab Nahi Jaungi, is recently facing criticism from ace writer Khalil ur Rehman Qamar, who wrote that film. During an interview to EPK, the Pyarey Afzal writer disclosed that Urwa Hocane was offered the second lead in his upcoming film Kaaf Kangana but after the exit of his main heroine Sohai Ali Abro, she was promoted to do the lead with Sami Khan. He further revealed that he has good relationships with Urwa’s husband Farhan Saeed and that’s why he decided to promote her than go for another actress.

However, he added that after casting Urwa, he had the worst ever experience of his life. He claimed that the temperament to handle the actress was beyond him and that’s why after 12 days, he decided to let her go.
Khalil ur Rehman Qamar has been behind some of the biggest TV dramas including Boota From Toba Tek Singh, Landa Bazaar, Pyaray Afzal, Sadqay Tumharay to name a few. He is currently working on his upcoming movie Kaaf Kangana where he has now cast Eshal Fayyaz and Ayesha Omer in place of Sohai Ali Abro and Urwa Hocane.
