Duchess Kate Middleton plays cricket with Pakistani players

Prince William and Kate Middleton arrive in Lahore today where they were warmly welcomed by Governor Punjab Chaudhry Sarwar and Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and were presented some fresh flowers by children.

The Duchess was seen radiating charm and elegance in an all white, classic embroidered kurta by Ideas Pret paired with white pants and a shawl by Maheen khan.

We caught up with the Product head for ladies apparel and accessories to get some interesting details about their experience, designing an outfit for the Duchess of Cambridge.

Sahar Ghanchi, told us that they chose this color themselves keeping in mind her elegance and simple style. She further added that they are extremely happy and humbled that the Royal Highness chose to wear Ideas Pret. The whole team designed the outfit keeping in mind her elegant and sophisticated style.

CM Usman Buzdar briefed them about the steps taken by the provincial government in poverty alleviation and  about the support from the British government in social sectors. CM Buzdar gifted them a traditional stick made of olive wood and a painting to Prince William and a  shawl to Kate Middleton.

Prince William and Kate were paying a visit to the academy as part of their day-long tour of the capital city of Punjab.

The Duke and Dutchess both enjoyed hitting shots with young Pakistani male and female players in the ground of the academy.

Kate Middleton was all smiles while playing the game. The Dutchess had tied her hair in a ponytail and changed her stilettoes with a pair of white sneakers on the occasion.

By the end of the game, the Royal guests posed for a picture with Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board Hasan Mani, Pakistani male and female players along with school kids.
