The former Good Morning Pakistan host was embarrassed by the Indian actor’s not-so-positive comments about her appearance. During an interview with Momin Saqib on his talk show Had Kar Di, the actress revealed she had a huge crush on the Bollywood heartthrob, who even invited her to join him at an event after the interview. However, Shaista regrettably turned his offer down.
Shaista was a guest on Hafiz Ahmed’s podcast and she was asked if she knew about this whole scenario. Shaista is friends with Shoaib Malik and she has always supported him in his life and work. She clarified that both her friends were single when they got together and she is sad about the social media onslaught that started.

She further added that people on social media are free and have nothing to do. They do not even consider how the couple’s families will be affected by the mean comments that were pouring in. Shaista said that they are both adults and took a decision based on their own free choice.
