Mehwish Hayat Calls Herself ‘A Bad Feminist’ After Taking an Inspiration from Madonna

After facing backlash, Mehwish Hayat expressed her ideas in a tweet, declaring that to do these dance numbers is her desire and her job as an actress and performer. Furthermore, she said that as a woman, she finds her work empowering as dance is the purest structure of art.

Mehwish shared a video clip of Madonna from Billboard Women in Music match in 2016 where she expresses her ideas on being criticized via fellow feminist women. In the video, Madonna declares herself to be a special type of a feminist, a bad feminist. By sharing this clip, Mehwish Hayat makes her views about the backlash very clear.
