Aamir Liaquat Banned From Appearing On TV, Radio Till Further Notice, The Islamabad High Court on Wednesday banned famous television host and televangelist Dr. Aamir Liaquat from making any Tv appearances till further announcement. Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA), complying with the orders of the court, has now directed all the private TV Channels and all FM Radio Broadcast Station to prohibit the appearance of Aamir Liaquat Hussain in all capacities.
All PEMRA licensees have been directed that Dr. Aamir Liaquat is not to appear in any talk show, current affair program, play, promo or advertisement with immediate effect until the next date of the petition’s hearing on January 10, 2018.

Aamir Liaquat Banned From Appearing On TV, Radio Till Further Notice, Aamir Liaquat is no new to controversies. The self-proclaimed televangelist resigned last month from Bol TV on social media, posting one dramatic tweet after another, accusing the network for fraud and not paying his dues and also pressurizing him to defame and share accusations against various prominent individuals.
The orders were given out by IHC’s Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui, after hearing a petition filed by Muhammad Abbas, seeking a complete ban on Aamir Liaquat from appearing on television, Social Media and print media, alleging that Dr. Liaquat had used his influence to spread hatred and create divide amongst people in the country.
