Now initially we had reported the news that Aagha Ali and Sarah Khan are gearing up to appear in a play together; but having spoken to Zhalay recently, we discovered that the main theme of the play is a triangular love story which will involve her as well, paired opposite Aagha.
Wanting to know more about her character we reached out to the lady and this was what Zhalay shared with us,
“My character’s name is Mona and she is a woman who is in love but is not blinded by it . A complex character, I’d say. The story is a family drama with focus being more or less on the aftermath of a love triangle.”

With Aagha Ali earlier disclosing to us that he’s playing a banker named Shahmeer while Sara Khan is all set to play an aggressive housewife named Azra, it will be interesting to see how Zhalay’s character Mona will impact the lives of the married couple. Whether she will be involved with Shahmeer before he gets married or will he seek her out because of his aggressive wife, is something we can’t wait to see and discover for ourselves soon.

Directed by Sakina Samo, the working title of the play is Dil Ka Chor whose shooting is still going on. A Sadia Jabbar production for A plus with a script penned down by Zanjabeel Asim Shah, the drama is all set to air soon and has us intrigued already.
