Shah Rukh Khan to be honored at Sharjah International Book Fair. Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) was awarded the ‘Global Icon of Cinema and Cultural Narrative’ award at the 41st edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) in the UAE yesterday. The event was attended by a large number of SRK fans in a jam-packed auditorium, who chanted his name until his arrival onstage.

Shah Rukh Khan is one of the megastars of Bollywood. Recently King Khan surprised his fans from all around the world with big news. He made an announcement on his Twitter account that he is launching his own OTT platform by the name SRK+. And fans are going crazy over his new venture.

Dressed in a dapper black suit, the iconic actor humbly accepted the award from the Chairman of the Sharjah Book Authority, Ahmed Al Ameri, and the General Co-ordinator of the SIBF Khawla Al Mujaini.

Always the entertainer, he left his fans swooning when he recreated his signature arms outstretched pose from the Bollywood film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. Shah Rukh Khan is a household name not only in India but all around the world. He is an Indian actor, film producer, and TV personality who has appeared in more than 80 films and earned numerous accolades.

SRK will make his much-awaited comeback on the big screen after a long hiatus in the upcoming movie Pathaanwith Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, and Dimple Kapadia. As the nightingale of India passed away, everyone paid their respects to Lata Mangeshkar including Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan. However, the actor was wrapped up in serious accusations which later proved to be fake.

Lata Mangeshkar’s body was cremated in Mumbai with full state honors on Sunday. Many public figures such as the Indian Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi and Bollywood bigwigs attended the funeral rites.
