Using Snapchat Is Haram, Says Islamic Scholar

Snapchat is a famous multimedia mobile application. Millions of people enjoy using this app. Recently, a Saudi Muslim scholar said that using filters of Snapchat for pictures is Haram in Islam.

The famous Saudi scholar Naser Omar, also a member of the Supreme Committee of Muslim scholar association, believes that Snapchat is prohibited in Islam because “people change their faces and distort God’s creation.”
