This year has been amazing for Ushna Shah. Her character Rani aka Reena Begum in Alif Allah aur Insaan has gained the stunning actress a lot of praise from everyone, even the critics. Ushna displayed a very bold character and a blunt female in Alif Allah aur Insaan, who took everything in her stride and we loved her confidence as Reena. But today we’re talking not about Ushna’s tremendous acting skills but rather about her love for animals which has resulted in her becoming the official celebrity Ambassador for Todds Welfare Society, an organization which continues to fight to end cruelty towards animals.From the announcement having been made on the organization’s official page on the social media, we also got to know that Shah had been rescuing and working for animal rights for a very long time and had even worked with the Todds Welfare Society to re-home and save several neglected animals ever since the operation began last year in 2016. Ushna Shah is an avid animal lover with three beautiful dogs of her own. On having being appointed as the celebrity ambassador for the organization, Shah shared a heartfelt message on her social media,
“I am extremely proud to be the ambassador for Todd’s welfare society – a one of its kind organization dedicated towards the welfare of stray animals in Lahore,” wrote Ushna. Adding further Ushna spoke what we have always felt needs attention. “It is high time that attention was paid to homeless animals and their well-being because humanity should not be limited to humans,” shared the gorgeous star.

I have been a supporter of Todd’s welfare since the NGO started and have watched the team work day and night tirelessly in aid of sick, orphaned, injured and abandoned animals. Their dedication is inspiring.”
