Former cricketer Shoaib Akhtar broke silence over ‘baseless’ reviews claiming that he used to be in love with Bollywood actress Sonali Bendre. The speedster took to his YouTube channel to make clear there’s no reality in the rumours that are afloat. Some reviews claimed that Akhtar was once in love with the star, carried photos of her in his pockets and wanted to kidnap her.
The cricketer claimed that he was once by no means a fan of Bendre but has viewed her in a few films. He also stated that he by no means met the actress.
He, however, admires her for her warfare against most cancers and for being a position mannequin for other women. “When she fell sick and I saw how she fought her sickness like a courageous woman, I grew to be a fan of hers,” Akhtar said. He brought that “Sonali Bendre has led the way for other ladies to be courageous to get through difficult times.”
Akhtar said he wanted to put a stop to the controversy and exhibit gratitude to Bendre for inspiring others thru her fight with cancer. He additionally said that the speculations of him getting married to Dia Mirza are false.
