Earlier this year, the Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhary introduced a whole ban on screening Bollywood films in neighborhood cinemas after India refused to release its films.
Fawad Chaudhry also ordered the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Association (Pemra) to take action towards Made in India Advertisements.
After the decision, Neuplex Cinemas also introduced that they will only focal point on local content till the scenario gets normalized.
However recently, the talented Pakistani actor Sheheryar Munawar spoke up in opposition to the ban on Bollywood film and said that it will only deteriorate the business of cinema owners. The actor regarded in the today’s show on Waseem Badami in which he used to be requested about his views on the ban.
