Sarwat Gillani with Her Husband and Son at Karachi Festival

Sarwat Gilani is a Pakistani model, film, television and voice actress. Gilani made her movie debut in Jawani Phir Nahi Aani where she played a pregnant Pashtun woman opposite Vasay Chaudhary. She made stage directorial debut with Kiski Topi Kiskay Sir. She will also star in upcoming movie Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 and will be reprising her role as Gul opposite Vasay Chaudhry.

Sarwat’s maternal grandfather was Nawab of Manavadar, and she has Pashtun ancestry through her grandmother. She married a cosmetology surgeon and actor Fahad Mirza in August 2014. Fahad Mirza is a Pakistani on-screen character, model and plastic surgeon. He is best referred to for his introduction part as Essa in 2012 drama serial Bari Aapa. He has additionally shown up in Mutthi Bhar Mitti, Main Deewani and Shanakht for which he was selected as Hum Award for Best Supporting Actor at third Hum Awards.
