Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt was snapped outside his home on Tuesday evening as he left for Mumbai’s Kokilaben Hospital where he has been going for medical treatment.
According to an ANI report, the actor asked his well-wishers to pray for as he left for the hospital, “Pray for me,” he said.
Actor Sanjay Dutt was pictured outside his Mumbai home with his wife Maanayata, sisters Priya and Namrata and other family members on Tuesday evening as he left for the hospital for cancer treatment. He will be undergoing preliminary treatment in Mumbai. While the actor left for the hospital, he told the paparazzi stationed outside his home to pray for him.
Sanjay Dutt has been diagonsed with Stage-3 lung cancer. He was expected to fly abroad. However, his initial treatment will be in Mumbai.
The 61-year-old star was hospitalised on August 10 due to breathing problems. He stayed in the hospital for two days. A couple of days later, he revealed that he is taking a sabbatical from work for medical treatment. However, he didn’t reveal about his ailment.
Dutt was accompanied by his wife Maanyata Dutt, who recently returned from Dubai where she was stranded due to the lockdown. The actor’s sisters Priya and Namrata were also there.
Dutt was admitted earlier this month to Kokilaben Hospital after complaining of breathlessness. He tested negative for Covid–19, but he took to Twitter after he was discharged to announce that ‘taking a short break from work for some medical treatment’.
