Ranveer Singh reveals he is aching to act with Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have three blockbusters where they have worked together – Ram Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat. In all the three films both Deepika and Ranveer’s acts were appreciated massively. The couple even started dating while they were shooting for Ram Leela and later tied the knot after the release of Padmaavat last year. However, seems like the couple will not be seen in any film together this year. Ranveer has quite a lot of films lined up like Gully Boy, ’83, Takht and more but Deepika isn’t a part of any of these projects. Deepika, on the other hand, has signed only one film right now which is Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak, in which she’ll play the role of an acid attack survivor.

In a recent interview with a news agency, talking about not working with Deepika any time soon, Ranveer said, “My wife and I will not have a film together this year. I’m hoping that filmmakers will approach the two of us with a script that we like and can take it forward. I’m looking forward to sharing screen space with her.” He went on to add that he is “aching to act with Deepika again.”
Ranveer also spoke about Deepika’s upcoming film. He said, “When she told me that she had liked the script and would be acting as well as co-producing it, I said, ‘Hallelujah! She has finally liked something.” Well, we hope makers are listening, it is time to come up with something for DeepVeer.
