Childhood and Personal Life:

Pakistani actor Ahsan Khan was born on 9 October, 1981 in London. Ahsan Khan has an identical twin brother, older brother and two elder sisters. Ahsan Khan’s childhood is spent traveling between Pakistan and England. He was taking masters degree in English Literature from Government College University, Lahore but discontinued to pursue the career in showbiz. Pakistani actor Ahsan Khan is married and is father of a girl Sukaina and boy Akbar Khan.

Career:

Ahsan Khan entered the Pakistani industry in 1998 with the movie Nikaah and Ghar Kab Aao Gay. Both the films were platinum jubilees. After doing films, Ahsan Khan entered the television industry. In the year when Nikaah was released, he also worked in Hans Ki Chaal on PTV. Nikaah went to be a hit but the play failed to make its mark. Ahsan Khan’s second movie Ghar Kab Aao Gay was also declared hit. Ahsan Khan was offered many projects. Top actor liked the television projects more than the film projects. So he decided to work as a television actor only. In one of his interviews, the top actor Ahsan Khan told the reason of changing his field:

‘Ghar Kab Aao Gay, the film in which Indian singers were introduced for the first time under pseudonyms, was also a hit and I was everywhere. Then something happened that made me change my field. I was in London for Javaid Fazil’s twin projects, Khayal and Chashmaan, when I was told that Waada, a Sangeeta venture for which I had barely give any time, was in theatres. I was shocked for I had done just one song and two scenes for the film and was expected to shoot more. I was really upset. The reputation I had built up after Nikaah and Ghar Kab Aao Gay was in ruins, the actor says while describing what briefly drove him away from films.’
