Pakistan’s first ever film festival (Pakistan Film Festival) will be held in New York on 3rd and 4th December 2016. The star-studded festival is organized by the Pakistan Mission to the United Nations.
Many Pakistani celebrities and directors like Mawra Hocane, Saba Qamar, Mahira Khan, Yasir Hussain, Asim Raza, Tooba Siddiqui, Mehreen Jabbar, Jerjees Seja, Sanam Saeed, Sheheryar Munawar, and Wajahat Rauf will be a part of Pakistan Film Festival.

Top rated Pakistani movies like Dobara Phir Se, Lahore Se Aagey, Actor In Law, Ho Mann Jahan, Mahe Meer, 3 Bahadur, and Dance Kahani will be screened in the festival.
The event will kick off with a red carpet reception Friday night where diplomats of 193 countries will come to see what Pakistan’s entertainment is producing.
A Sufi night by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is also organized at the UN General Assembly Hall to promote the Pakistani culture.
