Local court of Pakistan has imposed the charges of Rs10, 000 on singer Meesha Shafi. This happened at the time when the lawyer of the singer was enough failed to attend a hearing in a defamation case filed against her by singer Ali Zafar. The court hearing has been complete adjourned till April 17.
The Lahore High Court has ordered the trial court to conclude away the Ali Zafar’s defamation case against Shafi by April 15. He had even filed a defamation suit just as against her after she accused him of act of sexual harassment.
The singer has completely denied all the allegations and nevertheless asked to pay the restitution for the damage to his reputation and also about the terms of leveling false allegations against him.

Meesha Shafi has put allegations on the singer Ali Zafar for sexually harassing her for which so many names came up in front line for supporting the female singer and even speaking out in support of Ali Zafar as well. But now one year has been passed and no court case result has been concluded. 15th April 2019 was announced as the case closing date but now it seems like three months will be extended.
