In an Instagram post, Shafi denied the baseless claims associated with her last week. An Instagram fan page of Azam had claimed in a post that Shafi has expressed her fondness for the cricket and that she is eager to date him.
According to 24NewsHD TV Channel, when the case’s witness actress Iffat Omar cross-checked her testimony against singer Ali Zafar, Lahore judge Imtiaz Ahmed Gondal heard a defamation lawsuit against singer Meesha Shafi in other hearings.Iffat Omar stands by Meesha Shafi against Ali Zafar, Actress Iffat Omar has been worked in many popular Pakistani drama serials. Ali Zafar on the other hand filed a case against Meesha Shafi and 8 other people for running a defamation campaign against him. According to recent information, Meesha Shafi has been sentenced to jail for three years for leveling false accusations of harassment against Ali Zafar. Pakistan media houses and portals have still not commented on this news.
