Malala Yousafzai Visits Flood Hit Areas Of Dadu District. Education activist-turned-movie-producer, Malala Yousfzai, is visiting people who were affected by the monsoon floods in the Chhandan area of Juhi, district Dadu, Sindh. Sindh’s Minister for Health, Dr. Azra Pechucho, Minister for Education, Syed Sardar Shah; and humanitarian and singer, Shehzad Roy, accompanied her under strict security measures.

Malala Yousafzai has recently announced the news of her Nikkah on Twitter. She has tied the knot with Asser Malik who is General Manager of PCB’s High Performance and Co-founder LMS Pakistan. She has also shared some pictures from the nikkah ceremony with the caption “Today marks a precious day in my life. Asser and I tied the knot to be partners for life. We celebrated a small nikkah ceremony at home in Birmingham with our families. Please send us your prayers. We are excited to walk together for the journey ahead”.

The youngest Nobel Prize Laurate reached Pakistan yesterday with her family to help rehabilitate the affectees in the wake of the flash floods that devastated thousands of families in Sindh and other parts of the country.

Malala Yousafzai, the youngest Nobel Prize winning Pakistani student and social activist, graced the cover of the British fashion magazine Vogue.

Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah also lauded Malala Yousafzai’s visit and said that it would help to highlight the plight of the affecters all over the world. The education minister also briefed Malala about local education and the schools that have been affected by this catastrophe.

He said, “About two million children studying in 12,000 schools have been affected by the floods”. The Malala Fund had an emergency relief grant to the International Rescue Committee (IRC) in September for the provision of psychosocial support to girls in Sindh and Balochis tan.

The Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) grad posted a picture with his wife as the two went to see Andrew Lloyd Webber’s take on ‘Cinderella’. The special rendition of the classic fairytale plays at the Gillian Lynne Theatre, London.
