He revealed that he had once been invited to a private TV show hosted by Waseem Badami and Iqrar-ul-Hassan on ARY Digital. The show was fund raising telethon to raise money for the aging comedian’s medical expenses. Waseem Badami and Iqrar-ul-Hassan managed to raise over one million rupees for Majid Jahangir during the live show. Waseem Badami also reportedly offered to give the comedian a brand new car so that it would be easier for him to commute to the hospital.

Iqrar-ul-Hassan is a famous Pakistani host and journalist who rose to fame with his show “Sar-e-aam”, aired on ARY News. He often remains under the limelight for several reason. Iqrar is married to television journalists Farah Yousaf and Qurat-ul-Ain Hassan with whom he has a son Pehlaaj.
