Actor Mahira Khan pens a heartfelt and stirring word about Pakistan’s movie fraternity and the need to smash regressive notions about strong women.
“We are the present,” she wrote in a handwritten note, posted on her Instagram, “What we do and how we do it, is our future. Thank you to all these who have come out to help me- I did not ask for it and that makes it even extra special.”
On Monday, Mahira Khan expressed her gratitude for the support. “I am proud of my industry. I’m grateful to my senior artists for paving the way for humans like me and so many others. I am additionally proud of myself. In this trip of mine, I can proudly say that I have accomplished what I concept was right and by no means succumbed to what others concept was right for me.
