Upcoming Bollywood most awaited ‘Kalank’ is definitely creating a buzz around the social media. But another interesting thing about the film is that Alia Bhatt watched the Kashaf Character in Zindagi Gulzar Hain To prepare herself for the film role.
Kalank has the main cast of Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Madhuri Dixit, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, and Sonakshi Sinha. The whole concept of the film will be taking you back to the era time of the Mughal and Royal time as the main plot is revolving around Indo-Pak partition, as the stars and their avatars have made us all the more eager for the film.
In one of the interview, leading lady of the film Alia Bhatt revealed her inspiration for her role in Kalank and surprisingly, Sanam Saeed has played upon the vital role in helping the starlet prep for the challenging character.

She added that director of the film, Abhishek Varman asked Alia Bhatt to prepare herself for the role by watching Zindagi Gulzar Hain. She said that she took strong inspiration from Sanam’s role as Kashaf to play Roop in Kalank.
The actress has even watched evergreen Bollywood movies like ‘Mughal-E-Azam‘ and ‘Umrao Jaan‘ to get an understanding of grace and body language.
