Father Christmas’s desi cousin, Santa Paaji, was spotted singing, dancing, and ho-ho-hoing in I-8 Markaz to spread seasonal joy.This video clip of Santa and his helpers went viral on social media and brought a smile to people’s faces.
Netizens loved the desi Santa Claus, and were happy to see folks from the Christian minority freely enjoy Christmas in the open. For once, Pakistani netizens also felt the joy of Christmas and wished their Pakistani Christian brethren season’s greetings. Besides this, churches all over the country help special services and offered prayers for peace, progress, and prosperity in Pakistan, and for safety from natural disasters and diseases.

The Islamabad Police had made security arrangements for Christmas Eve along with special deployments at churches and other public places. They had provided foolproof security arrangements for Christmas and extra checking outside of churches in addition to deploying more than 1,500 officers around local churches.
As in other parts of the world, Pakistan’s Christian community celebrated Christmas on Sunday with enthusiasm and traditional zeal. They marked the birthday of Jesus Christ with various activities such as official gatherings, prayer services, cake-cutting ceremonies, parties, lunches, and dinners.
