Celebrities Share Patriotic Messages On Pakistan’s 77th Independence Day. 76 years ago, Pakistan appeared on the map of the world after a long political and constitutional struggle of the Muslims of India. Quaid e Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah and Muslims of the sub-continent gave countless sacrifices to achieve this homeland. This year though the real dream of Pakistan is yet to be achieved but Pakistanis still color the country green and white as they share their resolve to always love their homeland. 14th August 2023 marks the 77th Independence Day and the cities and villages of Pakistan are lit green. People were out celebrating the day till late at night on the 13th.
The struggle that started in 1857 culminated at its peak in the year 1947 when people of the sub-continent finally got independence. India and Pakistan both appeared on the world map and since then Pakistan has gone through many struggles. We lost Quaid e Azam a year after the country came into being. We have had a long list of tragedies from losing Fatima Jinnah, Madar e Millat, the separation of East Pakistan, multiple dictatorships, the never-ending hell that is the so-called war on terror and thousands of lives lost. But the country is still standing and the citizens are still resilient. Such is the spirit of Pakistan and such is the spirit of Pakistanis.
