Ayesha Omar is a woman who is not afraid of anyone. The actress makes sure that she can prove her point and keep a record if someone decides that it is not necessary. In a recent interview with Mira Sethi on the official YouTube channel, Omar spoke about her personal life, brutal behavior and many things her mother has to go through in order not to defend her rights. Mira Sethi asked Ayesha Omar how she was called “brave” as the word is a bad thing in society. To which she replied brilliantly:
“Our society is patriarchal. The norm here is that women should be oppressed, they shouldn’t be confident or conceited … This is the mentality that I have observed in Pakistan.
“Here women are not allowed to be honest and self-confident. To be courageous means to be self-confident, courageous, open-hearted or to express your own thoughts … This contradicts typical thinking; therefore, it is denied.”
She continued, no matter what people say about me or believe in me, I will always be brave instead of being scared.

Ayesha Omar also shared her time in Karachi when her father died. She was not yet 2 years old. Her father and his family robbed their father of all shares in a construction company while their mother had nothing. She said she shared many facts about women’s rights and fought for women’s rights based on the experience mothers have to go through. Her mother didn’t get it, she just wanted to make sure her child got the best education. So they moved to Lahore because of their mother’s family.
Her mother is a confident woman whom she wishes to raise on her own terms. So she does not live with her family, but raises them herself. Ayesha also said her mother didn’t have enough money and luckily received a merit scholarship in elementary school. She started painting, financed herself, and supported her family through college.
She later started working as an agent and was busy because she had no time to paint due to a tight schedule and study.

Ayesha Omar also told of an accident that happened to her about five years ago, in which she injured many bones in her body. She said the doctor was negligent and gave her the wrong belt, which resulted in more bone openings than before. Actress Tutti Frutti also revealed that there are still cracks and you can see it in motion. She said she cannot lift heavy objects and play certain sports. The new surgery and repair will take about a year, so she’s not sure when to spend that much time.
She also talked a lot, including her TV series “Bulbulay” and how she decided to leave the film, but she never could.
