Actress Maya Ali Defended Pakistani films Item Songs & The Internet Could not Accept it

Our industry has launched several object songs in the past. However, audiences are but to make peace with these unique dance numbers, actually by way of virtue of the claims that they oppose our tradition – which, honestly, is a debate in itself.

In the past, each Osman Khalid Butt and Hareem Farooq has spoken up about object numbers, as has Billi and Gangster Guriya starrer, Mehwish Hayat. Now, Maya Ali has joined the listing of celebrities talking up about item songs in films, and she’s obtained an honest point.

The star of the upcoming film, Parey Hut Love, spoke to Waseem Badami, sharing her notably refreshing ideas on the matter. Maya defended item songs, announcing that when human beings spend money, they do so to be entertained.

Moreover, she stated that songs are a source of entertainment, regardless of what you identify it. Whether you refer to it as an item number, dance quantity or shaadi song, it’s just that – a song.

Maya even noted that there are many older songs that make you choose to dance alongside when you hear them. She capped off her argument stating that it all boils down to entertainment.

I’m no longer saying any backlash is fundamental – it’s not. We ought to all be more accepting. It just looks like our quota of acceptance is reserved for men, and female in the industry become easy pursuits to choose on when they operate such dance numbers.
