Water and Vinegar
Mix 3 teaspoons of vinegar in seven teaspoons of water and mix them nicely. Apply the paste on your scalp at night and wrap your head with the towel or shower cap and in the morning wash your hair with gentle shampoo or conditioner. It can help you to reduce your dandruff problem.
Vinegar, Lemon Juice & Eggs
The next most-used home-made remedy is Vinegar and Lemon Juice mixture which I have personally tested on my scalp and have found very promising results. Mix 1 teaspoon of lemon juice with eight teaspoons of vinegar and rub this paste on your scalp. Take two eggs and mix them nicely in a bowl and afterwards pour them onto your hair. After few minutes wash your hair with a shampoo and believe me by using this remedy for few days you will never see snow flakes again.
Olive and Almond Oil
The most-used home remedy for dandruff control is the use of Olive Oil and Almond Oil. Both oils are naturally healer for damaged scalp skin. Mix these two oils and apply them softly on your scalp. Leave it for few minutes and then wash your hair with shampoo. This remedy will not only remove dandruff from your hairs but will also make your hair healthy and shinny.
Traditional Treatment Methods
In this modern era when we see so much advancement in science and technology, there is still a place for home-made remedies. You can use Anti Dandruff shampoos, which might prove to be effective but their effectiveness tends to go away with the passage of time. Natural home-made remedies are very effective and most importantly without any side effects. However, if you do not see any improvement even after the use of anti dandruff shampoos and home remedies, then you should visit a doctor immediately.
