According to Indian entertainment site Pinkvilla, Deepika Padukone is insisting the director to cast Pakistani hero Fawad Khan as her hero in upcoming Bollywood film.
Bollywood’s famous actress wants Fawad Khan to be cast alongside her in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next film “Padmavati”. As per reports, Deepika has spoken directly to the director about her demand.

“Fawad is the pefect fit for the male character in the film”, Deepika said to director Sanjay Bhansali.
Whether it’s gonna happen or not, only time will tell, as for now, we are surprised to see the respect and love Fawad Khan is getting in India and that too in such a short period of time. It’s very difficult for an actor to dig a good space in Bollywood, but due to his handsome looks and great acting, Fawad Khan has done it after appearing in just two films “Khoobsurat, and “Kapoor & Sons”. He has become the favorite of Indian directors and producers like Karan Johar, and has become so close with many Bollywood stars.
