Aisha Khadeeja’s party wear dresses In Women’s Lifestyle Exhibition

Aisha Khadeeja are two sisters with a dynamic flair of fashion. The designer duo is based in Lahore and has a growing international clientele. Best known for bridals, AK also offers a wide range of formals and semi-formals for girls and women of all ages. With a focus on intricate designs that cannily capture the personality of the wearer, their creations are personal not only because they are designed specially for one person, but also because they pour heart and soul into that creation. Their forte lies in using sheer chiffons, elegant satins and dazzling sequins incorporated to create original designs. AK particularly emphasize on the texture, color, tailored cut and embellishment of their outfits. Their design inspiration is vintage couture.

Spring/Summer 2011 collection by Aisha Khadeeja

Aisha Khadeeja’s spring/summer collection comprises of soft, gauzy, floral-printed cotton and voile outfits. The palette is grounded in the mixed range of somber tones and exotic hues.  Flowy long shirts in soft chikan adorned with delicate embellished brooch motifs are the key elements of the collection. Colorful, ultra-feminine and romantic, the collection reflects the playful mood of the season.

A tip from the duo for this season is that less is more. “Invest in a classic cut made with a good fabric and accessorize! Good shoes and handbags are a must.”

Aisha Khadeeja recently exhibited their spring/summer collection at the 9th Women’s Lifestyle Exhibition, which was held in Royal Palm.
