Edhi foundation chairman Abdul Sattar Edhi died today at the age of 88 in Karachi. His death is a terrible loss and the whole nation is deeply saddened by the death of Abdul Sattar Edhi who dedicated his whole life towards the service of people.

Edhi was diagnosed with kidney failure in 2013 but due to his weak health, the transplant couldn’t be performed. Last month, when Edhi became severe ill, former President Asif Ali Zardari offered him treatment abroad, but he declined the offer saying:
“I only want to stay in my homeland.”
Today earlier in the morning, doctors stated his condition ‘critical’ and he felt difficulty while breathing.
As per sources, Abdul Sattar Edhi’s funeral prayers will be offered on Saturday after Zuhar prayers at Memon Masjid, and he will be laid to rest at Edhi village.
May Allah give him the highest ranks in Jannah.
